We work with many groups and organisations to promote education and well-being in the local community:
- Grow and Learn
Several of our regular volunteers have received awards from the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society Grow & Learn Awards scheme through projects conducted in the garden.
- Local Primary Schools
- Several local Primary Schools visit the garden as part of their John Muir Award
- Local Secondary Schools
Pupils work on projects in the garden as part of their Rural Skills qualifications
- Local Scout and Brownie groups
An archaeology consultancy which runs hands-on archaeological and heritage workshops
- East Lothian Adult Education art class
Weekly painting and drawing courses have been based in the garden
Both walking groups and art groups have visited from the East Lothian University of the Third Age
