We work with many groups and organisations to promote education and well-being in the local community:

  • Grow and Learn
Several of our regular volunteers have received awards from the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society Grow & Learn Awards scheme through projects conducted in the garden.
  • Local Primary Schools
  • Several local Primary Schools visit the garden as part of their John Muir Award
  • Local Secondary Schools
Pupils work on projects in the garden as part of their Rural Skills qualifications
  • Local Scout and Brownie groups
  • BAJR
An archaeology consultancy which runs hands-on archaeological and heritage workshops
  • East Lothian Adult Education art class
Weekly painting and drawing courses have been based in the garden
  • U3A
Both walking groups and art groups have visited from the East Lothian University of the Third Age

If you organise a group and are interested in visiting or using the garden then get in touch.
